The tithe to the Church used to be institutionalised, but nowadays 'charity' is voluntary. Charity giving for Band Aid may be high, but we don't know most of our neighbours and who will visit the lonely spinster who lives next door but one? 

This pattern was digitally composed, a bit at a time, by digitally copying, moving, rotating and pasting a rhomboid (a diamond shape).
