HIDDEN IMPACT - 1983
Acrylic paint on 140lb paper, image size 73 x 53.5 cm,
available framed in plain painted silver frame (overall size 81 x 104 cm),
limited edition giclée prints also available in sizes A1 and A2.
An unknown force has impacted with the 'cubefield', but exactly how is uncertain. At first glance the cubes appear to have been pushed inwards (or outwards). But are the distortions shown actually possible?
The basic pattern was designed and drawn on tracing paper, traced onto thick watercolour paper and then painted with Liquitex artist-quality acrylics using
square-tipped brushes.
